ส.ป.ส. – สมาคมป้องกันสงคราม พ.ศ. 2485
Issued during WWII to raise funds for the Home Guard. Their use was obligatory on certain types of document, including residence permits, and “voluntary” (although expected!) on cinema and theater tickets. Their use on car windscreens also gave “a reasonable degree of safety”; cars not displaying the 5B top value revenue stamp were liable to be commandeered or confiscated by the authorities.
